Message: On Jan. police responded to Neiman Marcus on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Karla B. Pigford, 45, of Newark was arrested for allegedly concealing three pieces of merchandise in her handbag and one in her jacket and exiting the store. The merchandise had a combined value of $495. Pigford was charged with shoplifting. on Jan. 23 police responded to Longchamp on a report of a theft that had just occurred. Sales personnel reported the theft of a pocketbook valued at $145. Investigation by Millburn officers resulted in the arrest of Sarah L. Fabry, 38, of Short Hills for allegedly concealing the item and exiting the store. The pocketbook was recovered.
